Field Staff Brave Infection Risk to Save Lives
As soon as Social Mobilizer for RHIP II, Gyan Kumari Budha and the In-charge of Local Community Health Unit, Diya Sunar heard the news of a mother undergoing labour pain at the quarantine centre in Shree Gyanendra Secondary School of Nishikhola Rural Municipality, Baglung, they reached the quarantine centre without delay with necessary delivery kit to help the mother and her child.

Hygiene Kit and Nutrition Support to Pregnant and Lactating Mothers
FAIRMED, with support from its implementing partner Kalika Self-Reliance Social Center (KSSC), distributed hygiene materials and nutritional supplements to 84 mothers (30 pregnant women and 54 lactating mothers) at 38 quarantine facilities and two isolation centres of Province 5.
