Laboratory Support provided to Sisuwa Health Post-Kapilvastu
FAIRMED Foundation Nepal’s -“Essential Health Project(EHP)” in partnership with Kalika Self-Reliance Social Center(KSSC) organized a program to distribute tools and equipment’s for the laboratory of Sisuwa Health Post, Ward no-9, Kapilvastu. All the equipment’s were distributed as per the National Lab Service Operation guideline 2073.
EHP distributed equipment’s worth NPR.99,243 which included :Centrifuge Machine-1,Calorimeter-1, Waterbath-1, VDRL Shaker-1, Hot Air Oven-1, Incubator-1, Micropipette-1, DC Counter-1, Glassware-2 set / Vacutainer-1 set. The distribution program was attended by ward Chairman, Municipality Health Co-ordinator, Chief of Sisuwa Health Post, Lab Assistant and staff of FAIRMED Foundation Nepal KSSC.
During the event ,Tulsi Ram Khanal, Senior Officer of FAIRMED said “The project distributed the equipments to improve service access and quality care to the community.”
While the Chief of Sisuwa Health Post Mr. Begpal Kurmi thanked FAIRMED for the support they have provided and further added that “These tools and equipment’s will be very useful for the health post to provide quality health service to people”.
