Training to HFOMC members of Bogadi Health Post and Raypur PHCC

Essential Health Project in coordination with Kotahimai rural municipality and Marchawari rural municipality of Rupandehi district organized training for HFOMC members on March 15 & 16 at Bogadhi Health Post and on March 18 & 19 at Raypur PHCC on the new HFOMC Guidelines (2075).

The purpose of the training was to aware HFOMC members on their roles and responsibilities for identifying and addressing the community health needs and ensuring the effective functioning of the public health facilities. A total of 16 participants from two HFOMCs were trained. After the event, the HFOMC members developed action plans that will effectively guide their activities. The project team will also support technically and will facilitate to implement the plan.

EHP is providing technical support and working with local government to endorse the new HFOMC guideline in 18 project working municipalities and thereby supporting the formation and capacity building of HFOMCs at peripheral health facilities.
