  • Leprosy Referral Clinic and Telemedicine Inauguration Program

     

    FAIRMED Nepal in collaboration with Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, and Epidemiology and Disease Control Division established a separate care unit for Leprosy diagnosis and treatment in the hospital. 

     

  • Leprosy (NTDs) Complication Management Training for Health Professionals

     

    FAIRMED Nepal, jointly with the Ministry of Health & Population and The Leprosy Mission Nepal, organized training on Complication Management of the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) at Anandaban Training Centre, Tikabhairab, Godawari, Lalitpur.

  • NTD Training Manual

    With an objective of building capacity on the local level among the community health professionals, FAIRMED Nepal together with Health Training Centre, Lumbini Province published training manuals for early diagnosis, management and prevention of Neglected Tropical Diseases found in Nepal.

  • FAIRMED participates in 8th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal

    FAIRMED Nepal participated in the Eighth National Summit of Health and Population Scientists in Nepal, program organized by the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) on 11th - 12th April, 2022.  

  • FAIRMED's relief support to flood affected families in Sindhupalchowk

     

    With the onset of monsoon this year, Nepal witnessed heavy rainfall in most parts of the country. Continuous rain triggered flash floods and landslides everywhere, including Sindhupalchowk district in Bagmati Province. This year’s unabating rainfall led to the loss of lives and properties in a large magnitude, especially in Sindhupalchowk.

What we do

Even those who are in poverty, disadvantaged or live in isolation should be allowed to be healthy. We help these people to stay healthy or to recover their health.
