Leprosy Referral Clinic and Telemedicine Inauguration Program at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, Teku
FAIRMED Nepal in collaboration with Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital, and Epidemiology and Disease Control Division established a separate care unit for Leprosy diagnosis and treatment in the hospital.
The care unit was inaugurated on 9th June 2022 in virtual presence of Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh (Director General of Department of Health Service) by Dr. Manisha Rawal, (Director, Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital), Dr. Chuman Lal Das (Director, Epidemiology and Disease Control), Dr. Rabindra Baskota (Section Chief of Leprosy Control and Disability Management Section, Department of Health services) and Ms. Nirmala Sharma, Country Coordinator, FAIR MED Foundation Nepal.
